说到巴生,说到肉骨茶。而说到百家利美食又怎么可以少了咏春肉骨茶呢?从“咏春”这招牌大概可以猜出老板为福建永春人,但为什么是“咏春”而不是“永春”呢?原来是老板父亲的创意点子,永春人做餐饮业,所以永字加了个“口”,成了“咏春”!

这是一家非常有个性的肉骨茶店。只卖碗装肉骨茶不卖瓦煲肉骨茶,只卖汤肉骨茶不卖干肉骨茶。不提供油条也没有油菜。来到这里的食客只需做出一个选择,那就是要什么猪肉部位,当中又以脚腕及脚侧最受欢迎。年轻的老板那么坚决只卖一种肉骨茶而且不卖其它配菜,原来只因坚持原汁原味。最初的肉骨茶,不是用瓦堡盛装的,更没有干式肉骨茶。而他们的汤汁更是重质不重量,为了确保食客们品尝到浓郁的肉骨茶汤,店家都不会熬煮过多的汤汁。这也是为什么他们不提供油条来“吸干”汤汁!由此可见,老板的坚持不是毫无理由的。但也正因如此,来到咏春肉骨茶就一定能品尝到最原汁原味的肉骨茶。

许多外地人不解为什么巴生人习惯早上吃肉骨茶,老板解释说这或许和早年在巴生港口工作的华人有关。因为他们的工作需要大量精神体力,于是他们习惯以一碗热腾腾的肉骨茶配饭作为开始一天劳力前的早餐。所以和巴生许多肉骨茶挡一样,百家利咏春肉骨茶营业时间为早市及午市,不想错过此原汁原味肉骨茶的食客们可要注意一下哦。

Eng Chun Bak Kut Teh, ran by a young owner who strives to preserve the traditional Bak Kut Teh taste. Serving Bak Kut Teh only in bowls, customers only have to select which pork cut they prefer. No claypot variety of the dish is served here, as well as the dried Bak Kut Teh option which is hugely popular among the younger generation. Youtiao, or commonly known as “cakoi” in Malaysia, isn’t serve here as well because, according to the owner, it absorbs too much of the soup, and it isn’t part of how Bak Kut Teh is traditionally eaten. All these just to ensure every bowl of Bak Kut Teh served here, is of the most original taste.
