说起宝香,相信许多肉骨茶爱好者对这名字不会感到陌生。雪隆一带有好几家购物商场内可以看到宝香绑线肉骨茶的连锁店。是的,宝香是马来西亚第一家打入购物商场的肉骨茶招牌。不说你不知,这著名肉骨茶连锁店的起源,也就是它们的首间店面,就在巴生百家利!2006年开业时,百家利一带的饮食业并不兴旺,但老板看准商机,决定在百家利开了他第一家肉骨茶店。当时不会担心做不起来吗?老板豪气地说了一句“有好的品牌就不怕!”。由此可见,老板除了勇气可嘉,还对自己的品牌信心十足。

在投入肉骨茶生意之前,老板是位小贩,曾售卖多种不同食物。会开店卖肉骨茶,是因为身为巴生人的他对肉骨茶有浓厚情怀,但他发现真正古早味的肉骨茶却少之又少。于是他决定投身肉骨茶行业,四处考察,并吸取老人家对肉骨茶的意见,最终发现“绑线”这非主流的肉骨茶熬煮方式。他透露,将猪肉绑线再下锅熬煮,过程中可以为猪肉去除多余的油份,“锁住”猪肉与药材最原本的味道,而且吃起来也比较健康。当他们的肉骨茶呈上桌时,可以发现肉骨茶汤内的油明显较少。或许你会问,少了一层油,那汤岂不是很快变冷?别担心,老板也早已想好对策。每碗肉骨茶上桌时,下方都会附上燃烧着的蜡烛,以替肉骨茶保温。这与海鲜饭店常见的以小蜡烛火替蒸鱼保温有异曲同工之妙。

宝香绑线肉骨茶也推出了肉骨茶包,并有多种不同口味选择。包装上印有“茶乃药汤也”这五字。原来肉骨茶的“茶”,指的是那以多种药材熬煮出来的药材汤!长知识了哦~

Pao Xiang Bak Kut Teh, a familiar name in various shopping malls across Klang Valley, little did we know that their very first outlet is in Berkeley. Pao Xiang had a different take on the Klang famous Bak Kut Teh, they incorporated a lesser known preparation method for their pork, tying them with a string before cooking them. This method is known to eliminate excess oil and fat in the pork during the cooking process, making it a flavourful and healthier option.
