As the name “Restoran Bubur Goreng” suggests, the fried porridge is the staple food on their menu. Perhaps some might raise an eyebrow or two about the food called “fried porridge”, as it is way beyond the norm to have porridge served fried. However, this unique dish gained popularity as it offered a twist to the food “porridge’ that we have all grown accustomed to. With its appearance being brown in colour, the fried porridge tastes salty and is rich in aroma, a distinct departure from what porridges are “supposed” to look and taste like.
